Please bring pillows, blankets, blocks and long straps for this restorative and gentle yoga workshop. We will slowly and sensitively increase our range of motion in gentle yoga postures. We will spend a lot of time in supine positions as this reduces inter-discal pressure and lengthens the spine. We will also enjoy longer holds in supported restorative postures.

This is an opportunity to practice poses which we rarely have time to address in a group-class format. Although this workshop is not appropriate for complete beginners, we will use modifications and props to help make these poses more accessible. Yoga and the 12-steps of Recovery

Date: Saturday 2-4 pm  April 14

Modeled from the meetings of 12-step programs, Yoga of 12-Step Recovery is a group sharing circle followed or preceded by an intentional, themed yoga class.

We will start with a 12-step meeting for all affected by addiction (AA, NA, MA, OA, Al-Anon, Alateen, etc.) 
are encouraged to attend; Followed by a 
 yoga practice with a 12-step theme.
